Hindustan College organizes Kavisammelan ‘Kavya Sandhya’ on the Eve of Annual Cultural-Techno Fest ‘Gyan Jyoti 2019
- Famous poets Shri Pratap Dixit, Shri Vineet Chauhan, Shri Sudeep Bhola, Dr. Ruchi Chaturvedi, Shri Shudhanshu Sahil, Shri Anuj Tyagi, and Ms. Jyotsna Sharma charmed the audience with their melodious poems
Hindustan College of Science & Technology, Mathura, the flagship college of Sharda Group organized a kavisammelan to pay tribute to the martyrs of Pulwama, by a program “Kavyasandhya-Ek Sham Shahidon ke Naam” on the eve of Gyanjyoti-2019, the annual Cultural-Techno Fest like last years. Shri Pratap Dixit remembered the experiences of the past and introduced new working style of the government through his poems which were full of patriotism in the names of the martyrs. All the poets were welcomed by tilak on their forehead.
First of all the Director of the college Dr. Rajeev Kumar Upadhyay welcomed all the poets in the college and told that all are renowned poets of heroic, humorous, fields. He told that these poets are like soldiers of Indian Army who encourage youth to serve nation by their innovative ideas in all fields of life.
Prof. V.K. Sharma, Executive Vice President of the college welcomed the poets and asked the audience to enjoy the poems of the famous poets.
Kavisammelan was started with the recitation of the prayer of the Goddess of Knowledge, Maa Saraswati “Maa Sharde vardan de, sadbhav de, sadgyan de” by Dr. Ruchi Chaturvedi. After that she presented tribute to the martyrs and recited song for their wives “Teri prem ki orh chunaria doli man ke gaon re, raah niharu kab se teri baithi papal chaon re”
The kavisammelan was conducted by the renowned poet from Rajasthan Shri Vineet Chauhan. He recited heroic poem “Saanp aastino ke jab tak na mare jayenge hosla kitna bhi ho par jang hare jayenge” and “lagta hai nadan parosi bhulayega papon ko, enhe sabak sikhaya tha pahale bhi inke baapon ko, inch-inch Kashmir bhala Bharat se aise hi le loge, is Kashmir ke chakkar main Lahore Karachi bhi de doge” in the name of the martyrs of Pulwama and the heroes of surgical strike in PoK. This poem of Shri Chauhan encouraged the audience.
Famous poet Shri Sudeep Bhola recited heroic and humorous songs for the faculty members and student of the college like “vatan ki dehari ke prahari so gaye need bahut gahari tiranga orah ke, so gaye na jane kab se nahi soye” and “jalayen ed diya hum un viro ke naam”. He also recited his famous song, “Vardiyan, vardiyan sainikon ki vardiyan sipahion ki vardiyan” which was praised with clap by the audience.
Shri Sudhanshu Sahil presented his poem, “Mitti meri kabra ki bhigati kaise, girna tha jo ansu vo gira nahi” and “na eshaq, husn, muhabbat na jam ka hi nasha, mere kalam par kisi aur ki khumari hai”.
The audiences were puffed up with humourous humour by comic poet Shri Anuj Tyagi. Dr. Salim of Mathematics Department also recited the poem on this occasion. He also compeered kavisammelan. Famous poetess Dr. Jyotsana Sharma recited heroic songs for students and faculty members. She filled enthusiasm for the service of the nation by her songs, “ orh chuniriya baasanti jab jate veer javan hain, dashon dishayen matha chumeyn gagan akre samman hai” and “ main vo lamha hun jise vakt ne nakar diya, main tarasta raha nazar ko teri then to dil se hi utar diya”.
At the end of the program Executive Vice President Prof. V.K. Sharma and Director Dr. R.K. Upadhyay honoured all the invited poets by presenting memento and shawl.
On this occasion, Executive Director Dr. D.G. Roy Chaudhary, Director HR Shri K.G.S Chauhan, Coordinator Gyanjyoti and HOD Dr. Sanjay Jain and HOD Electircal Engineering Department Dr. Richa Kapoor, HOD and Dean Faculty Mathematics Dr. Harendra Singh Chauhan, Dean Student Welfare Dr. Sandeep Agrawal, Coordinator Ist Year Dr. Suruchi, CEO Dr. R.K. Tiwari, Asst. Dean Academics Mr. Vijay Katta, Shri Manish Gupta, all HODs of various departments, Registrar Academics Dr. Amit Saxena, faculty and staff members and students were present.
