A quiz competition was organized at Hindustan College of Science and Technology, Mathura on the occasion of World Youth Skills Day. 10 schools of Agra-Mathuraparticipated in the quiz competition. These include St. John’s Girls Inter College, Agra, Queen Victoria Girls Inter College, Agra, Prelude Public School Agra, R.E.I. Public School Agra M.S Public School Tundla, M.D. Jain Inter College, Agra St Georges Agra, Police Modern school Agra, Shreeji Baba Inter College Mathura and Police Modern Public School, Mathura.
In the beginning of the program the director of the institute, Dr. Rajeev Kumar Upadhyay welcomed all the students and their teachers from Agra-Mathura schools. He told the students about the challenges ahead in the future. He called upon the students to learn good habits. He said that the youth of the world is facing the problem of unemployment in today’s time, due to which he is compelled to do less skilled job than his capacity.He suggested the students to improve their skills.He said that today is a day dedicated to the importance of equipping the youth around the world with the necessary skills to become employable and an entrepreneur
Executive Vice President of Sharda Group, Prof. V.K. Sharma welcomed the students and their teachers and motivated them to choose the right path in their career. He advised the students to focus on their goals.
