Anand College of Pharmacy celebrated “World Pharmacist Day”. The day is celebrated to promote and advocate the role of pharmacists in improving health in every corner of the world. This year the theme was “Pharmacists united in action for a healthier world”. All students enthusiastically participated in constructive activities such as Poster Making, Powerpoint presentations, Slogans, and Rangoli to showcase their artistic and creative skills.
Prof. (Dr.) Kashmira J. Gohil, Director, Anand College of Pharmacy congratulated all students and staff for celebrating this day with great panache, discussed career in Pharmacy, specific skill, focus and the morale required in the profession, and reminded us to pay tribute to all those pharmacists who provide selfless services with kindness and empathy to the society.
In the poster presentation, Mr. Yash Tyagi and Ms. Sakshi Gupta (B. Pharm 4th year) secured the first position, Ms. Hemlata Tiwari (B. Pharm 4th year) secured the second position and Ms. Aradhana (B. Pharm 4th year) secured the third position respectively.
In the PowerPoint presentation, Mr. Hariom Dwivedi (B. Pharm 3rd year) secured the first position, Ms. Gunjan Soni (B. Pharm 2nd year) secured the second position and Mr. Narayan Bharadwaj (B. Pharm 4th year) secured the third position respectively.
In the slogan competition, Mr. Narayan Bhardawaj (B. Pharm 4th year) secured the first position, Mr. Prashant Raghav (B. Pharm 4th year) secured the second position and Ms. Hemlata Tiwari (B. Pharm 4th year) secured the third position respectively.
In the rangoli competition, Ms. Nandini Gupta and Mr. Yash Saxena (B. Pharm 2nd year) secured the first position, and Ms. Tanu Gupta and Ms. Payal Sharma (B. Pharm 2nd year) secured the second position respectively.
The coordinators of this event were Dr. Deepali Pandey (Asst. Prof.) and Mrs. Khushboo Lavania (Asst. Prof.). The Executive Vice president of the SGI group, Prof. V. K. Sharma, and Hon. Vice-chairman Shri Y. K. Gupta congratulated all the students, faculty, and staff members on this occasion.
