SGI, Anand Campus attended  International Seminar on Food Safety and Nutrition organized by Department of Biotechnology MIET, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, India.The theme of the seminar was food-related challenges, including vitamin and mineral deficiencies, obesity, and non-communicable diseases.
The Chief Guest was Prof. Jorgen Schlundt (Director, Nanyang Technological University, Food Technology Centre, Singapore) he has participated in the development of food safety Risk Analysis principles and initiation of studies to estimate the global burden of food borne diseases related to chemical, microbiological and nutritional issues.
