{"id":11019,"date":"2021-08-21T17:11:10","date_gmt":"2021-08-21T11:41:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.sgei.org\/?p=10526"},"modified":"2021-08-21T17:11:10","modified_gmt":"2021-08-21T11:41:10","slug":"dr-r-k-upadhyay-awarded-with-outstanding-engineering-services-to-society-award","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sgei.org\/newsite\/latest-news\/dr-r-k-upadhyay-awarded-with-outstanding-engineering-services-to-society-award\/","title":{"rendered":"Dr. R.K Upadhyay awarded with &#8216;Outstanding Engineering Services to Society Award&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Director of Hindustan College of Science and Technology, a prestigious Institute of Sharda Group, Professor Rajeev Kumar Upadhyay was honored with &#8220;Outstanding Engineering Services to Society Award&#8221; by &#8220;The Institute of Engineers (India) Rajasthan State Center, Jaipur&#8221; on 15th of August.<\/p>\n<p>In this program apart from Dr. Upadhyay, many engineers from IITs, NITs, and various National Research Labs of 13 states mainly from IIT, Kanpur, Research Labs of Kurukshetra, Jaipur, Prayagraj were also honoured.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Upadhyay received this honor for his contribution in academics i.e. 3 books in Mechanical Engineering, Patents, and Copyrights. Recently his interview was broadcasted on Altras TV, Russia on the topic &#8220;Contribution of Technology in Progressive Society&#8221;. Dr. Upadhyay is a member of International Society of Productivity Enhancement and Quality Council of India and currently working in the fields of Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing. Prior to this, Dr. Upadhyay had received a fellowship of IET, London.<\/p>\n<p>On this distinguished achievement of Dr. Upadhyay, the Chairman of Sharda Group Shri P.K. Gupta, Vice Chairman Mr. Y.K. Gupta, Executive Vice President Prof. V.K.
