[vc_row triangle_shape=”no”][vc_column][vc_column_text]Ayush Dixit, the final year student of Electrical and Electronics department of HCST a prestigious institute of Sharda Group, created a project ‘Third Eye’ for blind people under the guidance of Assistant Professor Shri Vivek Agarwal.
The Vice Chairman of Sharda Group, Mr. Y.K. Gupta, Executive Vice President Prof. V.K. Sharma, Director of the college, Dr. Rajeev Kumar Upadhyay congratulated the student and his guide.
On this occasion, the guide of the project Mr. Vivek Agarwal said that the third eye is a latest technology for blind people in which the negative of the eyes of the blind man is prepared with the help of multidisciplinary subjects like laptop. With the help of ultrasonic waves through the detection of the boundaries of the eye, the buzzer vibrates when an object is in the way ahead. The blind man can change his direction accordingly.
He said that according to the World Health Organization (WHO), 30 million people are blind, they are struggling, they have many difficulties in their daily life. Keeping this in mind,the students of Hindustan College have made this machine. This machine is affordable.It uses Arduino 3.0 and ultrasonic sensor. When the sensor detects an object, it notifies the blind person using a beep. Due to which the blind person will be helped to a great extent.
The Director of the Institute Dr. Rajeev Kumar Upadhyay, congratulated the successful students and their guiding team in the project and also assured all possible help to improve its quality by working more on this action plan in future also. He also motivated the students of the college to be ahead in the technical field. He said that the future of the country is on the shoulders of these students and they will take their country to new heights in the coming times by making such new inventions.
The Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Dr. Richa Kapoor said that the main objective of this project is to provide assistance to blind people in their daily life. He explained that the goal of this work is to provide an eco-friendly way to help blind men.
