Candle March at AEC to pay tribute to the Martyrs

Faculty members and Students of Anand Engineering College Technical campus paid heartfelt tribute to the CRPF martyrs of Pulwama amid slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” at the  campus last evening. A candle march was started from Boys Hostel of the college to the Fountain situated inside the campus. The students, teachers and non-teaching staffs of the college thronged to the venue and observed two minutes silence for peace to the departed souls. Names of the martyred soldiers were called one by one accompanying patriotic slogans. The entire campus was emotion packed because of ghastly attack on CRPF soldiers at Pulwama.

 “Students strongly condemn this act of cowardice, offer their heartfelt tribute to the martyred soldiers and pray for speedy recovery of injured soldiers”.  All faculty members and staff expressed hope that the supreme sacrifice of the soldiers would not go in vain and the nation would triumph over terrorism in the ultimate run.
