Admission Eligibility
CATEGORY I : Affiliated to & Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University
75% of the seats are filled by the University through State Entrance Examination (SEE) & 10% through JEE – Mains counseling depending on the rank obtained by the student in JEE – Mains Counselling sessions for the same are called in 9 cities and announced in leading Newspapers by the University. Balance 15% seats are filled by the Colleges through Direct admissions as per AKTU guidelines, under the Management Quota. Any unfilled seats / lapsed seats (filled but not reported for joining) are also filled by the college after getting approval from the University.
The order of preference for these Management Quota/Lapsed Seats Admissions is indicated below
- Rank in UPSEE
- Rank in JEE- Mains
- (10+2) with Physics & Math and any one out of Chem. / Biology / Biotechnology / Technical Vocation Subject with 50% marks.
Note: for B.Tech.(Bio-Tech.) Physics & Math or Biology any one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology /Technical Vocation subject with 50% marks.
B.TECH 2nd Year Direct Admission- (Lateral Entry)
- Rank in UPSEE
- Diploma in Engg. with min. 50% or B. Sc. with, Math, min. 50% marks
- Rank in UPSEE
- 10+2 with Physics & Chemistry and any one of Maths/Biology/Biotechnology/ Technical Vocation Subject with 50% marks.
B.PHARM 2nd Year Direct Admission- (Lateral Entry)
- Rank in UPSEE
- Diploma in Pharmacy with minimum 60% marks
- Rank in UPSEE
- Rank in CAT/MAT
- Graduation in any discipline with 50% marks.
- Rank in UPSEE
- Rank in CAT/MAT
- Graduation in any discipline with 50% marks.
- Rank in UPSEE
- GATE percentile of 85%(+) desirable.
- Minimum 60% in B. Tech from an AICTE approved institution (relaxation for sponsored candidates) in a related domain.
Production Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering(VLSI Design)
- Rank in UPSEE
- B.Pharm with 60% marks.
CATEGORY II : Affiliated to & Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University
10+2 pass from a recognized board or university with minimum of 50% marks.
10+2 pass from a recognized board or university with minimum of 50% marks.
CATEGORY III : Affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education
10+2 with Physics Chemistry and / or Mathematics including English as one of the compulsory subjects with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (Clear passed without any grace) Pre degree examination any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above exam.
