Valedictory session of 5 days Online FDP on Role of Academic Leadership in meeting institutional challenges

Hindustan Institute of Management and Computer Studies, Farah, Mathura has organized five-day faculty development program on the ‘Role of Academic Leadership in Meeting Institutional Challenges‘ from 10 February 2021 to 14 February 2020-21. This FDP was sponsored by AKTU, Lucknow. The key focus of the programme was to focus on the problems faced by institution in different areas like new education policy, problem of students , problem and challenges in transforming cultute and surviving in the challenging market which is volatile.The experts from different areas were invited make the session learning . In FDP experts, presented their fundamental ideas, models and perspectives to the participants in management and technical fields. Participants could learn about various dimensions and importance of the role of academic leadership. The experts were Professor BL Dubey from University of Alaska U S, Professor Parvaiz Talib from Aligarh Muslim University, Professor Ipshita Bansal, while partnering with BPS Women’s University Sonipat, Prof SM Khan from AMU, Aligarh and Dr Neetu Jain from IIPA Delhi, Dr. Manisha Seth from Jaipuria Institute Lucknow and Dr. Deepali Kakkar, Management Consultant, Dr. Naveen Gupta, Director, HIMCS .Dr. Arun Kumar Pullela , School of Criminology, Crime Science and Behavioural Science Rashtriya Raksha University,(An Institution of National Importance),

Professor BL Dubey from University of Alaska U S , gave a presentation on the type of projective technology and use in leadership.  Professor Parvaiz Talib from Aligarh Muslim University introduced the participants to the challenges of academic leadership in the development of higher education. Professor Ipshita Bansal, while partnering with BPS Women’s University Sonipat, gave detailed views on the role and importance in the academic leadership and development of the new education policy-2021.Prof. Dr. Ajay K Jain, from MDI Gurugram, Prof SM Khan from AMU, Aligarh and Dr Neetu Jain from IIPA Delhi attended the session as an expert. Dr. Manisha Seth from Jaipuria Institute Lucknow and Dr. Deepali Kacker, Management Consultant and expert in conducting management games were talked about online teaching  and presented their views on online teaching pedagogy and shared their presentation on interactive way of teaching and discussed about productive students engagement in class through role play.

Dr. Naveen Gupta, Director, HIMCS, emphasized on giving top priority to mental health management while explaining the relationship between mental health and academic leadership.

Dr. Abhilasha Singh Raghav, Head-DOBM and Program Coordinator of this five-days FDP, thanked everyone and said that the participants of various institutes of UP made this program successful by taking active participation and acquiring specialized knowledge.
