The MSc in Human Anatomy has been developed to provide postgraduate training in human anatomy and is intended for students graduating from
life science and related disciplines who wish to extend their knowledge of anatomy and/or who wish to pursue a career in the anatomical
sciences. The primary aim of the programme is to educate and train individuals in human gross anatomy. The programme will be delivered using a combination of traditional methods and guided self-directed learning in which students use and develop transferable and subject-specific
skills. The programme fulfils the requirements of a higher degree by ensuring that the students possess autonomy early in their studies to
maximise their interests and develop new skills.
This innovative two-year taught Masters programme in Human Anatomy provides a solid foundation in human anatomy as a basis for teaching as
well as basic and applied research. It considers all aspects of gross anatomy through direct examination focusing on the study of human gross
anatomy through direct examination and contextualisation
