The Bachelor in Nursing Prepare Nurses for first level position in Nursing both in the hospital and community at large. Our concept of Nursing is based on the INC’s definition of “the unique function of the Nurse which is to assist and individual, sick or well in the performance of those activities, contributing to health or its recovery” it is also based on WHO’s definition that “Health is a complete state of Physical, Mental & Social well- being & not merely absence of disease of infirmity. Like Medicine, Nursing is both science & art. Nursing Science is an organization body of Knowledge and the art of Nursing is the application of that knowledge for the case of the people, both in sickness and health. More recently Nursing has linked itself to social, behavioral & management Sciences. |
