About The Campus
Welcome to the Hindustan Campus…!!!
The Campus houses two Colleges viz. the Hindustan College of Science & Technology (AKTU Code-064) and Hindustan Institute of Management & Computer Studies (AKTU Code-067). Hindustan College of Science & Technology is the first self-financed private engineering college in North India, established in 1996, affiliated to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and has been awarded GRADE A+ accreditation by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council of India), which is the third highest NAAC score amongst all AKTU affiliated colleges. The Hindustan Institute of Management and Computer Studies was established in the year 1997 and is also affiliated to AKTU and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education.

A major challenge facing the 21st century India is to reduce the growing education-employment gap. There is a compelling argument between the academia and Industry, about what the industries want and what the education providers teach.
The prime objective of the Training and Development Department is dovetailing and synchronizing the relationship between what the industries/employers want in terms of behavioural and personal competencies, and integrating the same with the college curriculum through appropriate training programmes… thus making the student employable.
Similarly, for the development of domain skills, services of reputed skill development partners having close industry linkages (or sponsored by industries) is requisitioned to help students develop the essential domain skills.
